New Single Out Today
March 16, 2020
“Blood On The Windscreen” is out today. This is the second single from forthcoming album “We Are The Plague” produced by Stapleton and mixed by engineer Dan Cox (Thurston Moore/Laura Marling). The track takes it’s title from an unfortunate incident with a pigeon on a Glasgow-bound highway whilst on tour with The Church, though lyrically it explores themes of the rich profiting off the collapse of nature, short-sightedness of leaders, and inequality. The power of the 3-piece is showcased here with drummer Jim Macaulay (The Stranglers), and bassist Gavin Jay (Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind) propelling Stapleton’s distorted guitars and gritty vocal through time. ‘Blood On The Windscreen’ premiered on BBC Music Introducing: The South with Melita Dennett and is available now to stream and purchase on all digital platforms. **Please note the previously announced March tour dates with Humanist and Thee Hypnotics have been postponed due to coronavirus.
